Our digital cameras

We started taking digital photos in 1998, during our second trip to Cayo Largo (Cuba). At that time, few models were offered and the quality was awful! At that time, it was very important to take photos under a cloudless sky. The speed of operation was very slow and the batteries consumed quickly (not NiMH but rather NiCD only in 1998). We paid over $ 800 for our DC-210 +. Now we have access to high-end devices, reliable and much less energy for less than the price we paid in 1998!

Here is the list of all cameras we acquired since 1998. Datasheets of these cameras are from dpreview and Steve's Digicam websites. These sites are perfect to learn a lot before buying a camera. A must to read!
