Vosonic X'S-drive Pro VP300

I remember in November 2003 when we met our friends Luc and Hélène in Cayo Largo, we were discussing about their portable hard drive, they use to transfer photos for backup. Helen is passionate about photography. I found this was a great idea ... I needed one absolutely! : o)

Before you had to have a significant amount of memory cards on vacation. However, with this type of device, no need to buy a bunch of cards. I purchased the latest version of the X-Drive is the VP300. At that time, it was only a hard disk with a slot for compact flash and an LCD screen quite rudimentary. The aim was to safeguard photos, and this type of device was working fine for years.

  • The VP300 has served me well during those two years. He never lost any data. It was time for me to go to level 2, especially since the advent of new multimedia viewers Epson P series. There is now a wide range of viewers like ... Archos, Wolverine, Jobo, etc.

    Epson P-2000

We bought this portable hard drive in October 2005. A must for travel if you do not want to buy multiple memory cards. The wide screen display is great and the menus are very user friendly. The P-2000 shows almost all formats of photos and videos (MPEG-4, MOV and AVI). However, the operating system is a bit slow. Subsequent versions will probably run faster!
